Sigiriya lies deep in the interior, so this is a long, early day from Hiriketiya — around four to five hours' drive each way. We start before dawn to beat the heat and the crowds on the rock, handle all the driving and timing, and can arrange a guide at the site. Because of the distance, many guests prefer to make it an overnight trip; we are happy to arrange either.
